At first, there were foaming oil splashes when frying in sunflower oil, and at that time I thought it was caused by potatoes. There was a residue like machine oil on my pan, it couldn't be cleaned and I threw the pan away. When the last two liters remained, the oil became heavy and started to smell chemically, so I threw away about two liters of sunflower oil. The olive oil also started to get heavy and smell the same with about two liters left.
