Siemens Refrigerator malfunction service problem

I bought a Siemens brand refrigerator in February. A noise started coming from the motor part of the refrigerator, and the back of the refrigerator started to accumulate water and become icy. I called the customer representative and they said it was user error and that I would have to pay a certain fee. Oh man, what could I have done to this cabinet so that the back of it looks like this? This is ridiculous, really.
