Huawei Watch GT2 Band Color Change Problem

I bought a Huawei watch gt2 watch in December 2020. Even though it hasn't been a year yet, there is discoloration on the watch band. When I called customer service, they stated that the watch band was not under warranty, so I requested that they give me a letter stating that it was out of warranty. They directed me to the authorized service. I sent the watch and the authorized person from the service said that the color of the band changed due to user error and demanded a fee to replace the band. The reason why the color of the cord changed was due to contact with water. However, when the watch was sold, it was stated that it was waterproof. It is incomprehensible to be told that a waterproof watch is not under warranty because it has been exposed to water. Huawei should solve this problem and replace the watch band.
